Owls give back this Christmas!
This Christmas, the Owls’ Community Programme (SWFCCP) is giving back!
On Monday 23 December, staff from SWFCCP will be out and about in Sheffield, volunteering their time to support local charities in need.
From running chair-based fitness sessions in local care homes, donating essentials to food banks, and serving dinner to the city's homeless, staff will have their hands full giving back to the most vulnerable this time of year.
Wednesdayites can also join a morning mental wellbeing walk at 10:00am, setting off from the Owls Megastore, walking around Beeley Wood, and returning to the stadium in time for the Community Activity Day.
This event will run from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Education Hub next to the Megastore, offering a welcoming and warm space for families and friends of all ages.
Attendees can look forward to a day filled with fun games, activities, prizes and even special visitors!
Free chips with a topping of choice will be available for everyone who attends. There will also be plenty of information from local organisations that have partnered with the Community Programme throughout the year.
Paul Hebda, Youth and Integration Manager at SWFCCP, said:
"We're thrilled to be running this event, giving back to the local community. By providing a warm space and food for local families and young people, we can ensure participants feel supported and know what help is available to them."

Merry Christmas!
