Student Life

All our learners will have access to pastoral support which supports their personal and learning needs to ensure success. Our college offers a wide range of assistance to students with additional needs. We believe that all students should have an equal chance of success and offer specialist learning support, equipment and resources. 

We can support learners with childcare, mental-health and well-being, support with exams, support with a learning difficulty.

We can help support learners with funding, essential study costs, free college meals, travel, childcare and much more.

The Safeguarding Team are here to support you with any issues that you’re having that make you feel at risk, either at college or at home. We work with lots agencies who can help you with:

  • Being/becoming homeless

  • Domestic abuse

  • Exploitation

  • Online safety

  • Mental health and well-being

  • Sexual violence/harassment

Progression

BTEC Level 3 students are encouraged to progress into higher education, with full support for UCAS and bursary applications. Many go on to universities across the UK, while others continue at SWFCCP, undertaking a foundation degree in Community Football Coaching and Development, with the option to add a year for a BSc Hons in Football Community Coaching and Administration.

Our Community College pathways are delivered across three locations: the IT-equipped classrooms in our Education Hub at Hillsborough Stadium; the Community Facility, featuring a state-of-the-art 4G astroturf, community gym, and pitchside classrooms on Clay Wheels Lane; and the Owls eSports Arena, with cutting-edge gaming facilities.
