Degree Pathways

We offer a variety of undergraduate degree pathways in partnership with the University of South Wales, Sheffield Hallam University, and Loughborough College. As well as a master's degree programme in collaboration with the University of South Wales.

Our Courses

  • The sports science pathway is a three-year pathway which is broken down into 3 separate but joining years. At the end of each year, the students will gain a qualification which is:

    • Year one: HNC (Level 4) in Sport and Exercise Science

    • Year two: HND Level 5) in Sport and Exercise Science

    • Year three: BSc (Hons) Applied Sports Science

    Entry Requirements
    PPP at extended level 3 – 48 UCAS points

  • The structure of our Sports coaching degree is a three-year pathway which is broken down into a 2-year foundation degree with the option of a top-up third year, both awarded by USW. The titles of the pathways are:

    • Foundation Degree in Community Sports Coaching and Development

    • BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching and Development


    Entry Requirements
    MMP at extended level 3 – 80 UCAS points

  • The structure of our football coaching degree is a three-year pathway which is broken down into a 2-year foundation degree with the option of a top-up third year, both awarded by USW. The titles of the pathways are:

    • Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development

    • BSc (Hons) in Community Football Coaching and Administration

  • The structure of our Sport Business Management degree focuses on providing students with a robust understanding of sport business theories and practical applications to thrive in professional roles. The course is designed to prepare students for dynamic careers in the sports industry.

    96 UCAS points, including Mathematics and English at Grade C / 4 or above

  • For students who have completed an undergraduate degree, this course offers a range of core and optional modules designed to further develop knowledge gained during their previous studies. The course is available on a full-time basis for two years or part-time for three years, with residential sessions at the start and end of the academic year in January.

    Honours degree classification of 2:2 or above in a relevant subject - or Related work experience

Our Community College pathways are delivered across three locations: the IT-equipped classrooms in our Education Hub at Hillsborough Stadium; the Community Facility, featuring a state-of-the-art 4G astroturf, community gym, and pitchside classrooms on Clay Wheels Lane.
