NCS 2024!

In November, staff from Sheffield Wednesday FC Community College took a group of 42 students to High Adventure Outdoor Activity Centre in Cowling for a week of team-building activities and fun for SWFCCP's final NCS (National Citizenship Service) residential.

NCS was a government-backed programme that helped young people develop skills for work and life, build confidence, and make a positive impact in their communities. Since its inception, the Owls Community Programme has taken thousands of young people on residentials around the UK.

Despite the government winding down the service, SWFCCP is committed to continuing its work with young people through other impactful programmes, positively shaping their lives through meaningful provision.

Jack Duty, Sports Tutor and Football Coach at SWFCCP, said: "The residential was a massive success; we're grateful to have been able to work with High Adventure to create lasting memories for young people that will last a lifetime!”
