Onside Mentoring

Premier League Kicks Targeted works with local referral agencies to identify and assist young individuals who have been, or may be, exposed or involved to the following kinds of incidents:

• Community violence

• Young people in youth justice

• Postcode group/gang violence

• Child sexual exploitation

• Violence in teenage relationships

• School exclusion

The programme aims to achieve the following objectives/outcomes:

• Increase young people's knowledge of healthy living

• Decrease involvement in violence

• Reduce unauthorised absences

• Improve chances of academic attainment

• Help young people develop interpersonal and self-management skills

• Promote youth voice

• Assist young people in establishing short and medium-term objectives
