SWFCCP hosts Spooky Stay & Play!

On Monday, 28th October, over 150 parents and babies gathered at Hillsborough Stadium for Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme’s Spooky Stay and Play!

The event was part of SWFCCP’s family hub project. Funded by Sheffield City Council, the sessions aim to support parents and babies in getting the best possible start in life through social and physical well-being classes. Since launching, SWFCCP has engaged with over 125 parents, with 42 completing baby first aid training.

One parent shared, "Being able to bring my baby has been invaluable for my mental and physical health as it allows me to exercise again and chat to other mums about being a parent."

Sean Graves, Health Manager at SWFCCP, commented: "It's been fantastic to deliver these sessions. We’re building a positive, inclusive environment to help mums and babies get active, socialise, and support each other, giving little ones the best start in life."

SWFCCP runs the follow Family Hub sessions for parents with a little one up to three years old.
