SWFCCP College Teams Up with SWLFC!

Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme is delighted to announce its partnership with Sheffield Wednesday Ladies FC, to enhance the pathways available to girls studying on their post-16 courses.

With each passing year, SWFCCP has witnessed the growth in popularity of its courses. Now, in response to the soaring interest in women's football, the programme is gearing up to establish a second women's team for the 2024/25 season.

This collaboration will mean that girls studying on SWFCCP's many post-16 courses, will have the opportunity to gain insights and more easily break into higher-level football by working closely with the SWLFC team to develop their skills and ability.

Jack Duty, SWFCCP's Education Sports Tutor and Manager for the College Women's Team, commented, "It's truly brilliant to be able to offer this pathway to our students. Teaming up with SWLFC allows our students to advance into higher-level football."
