The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme (SWFCCP) and St Luke’s Hospice are looking for people to sign up to join their Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
The 26 mile walk takes place on Saturday 20 May, with all funds raised going to St Luke’s and the SWFCCP.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours.
These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.
John Pearson, who has organised the event alongside St Luke’s said: “We’re really looking forward to taking on the Three Peaks Challenge.
“It’s a tough challenge to take on, but a fantastic achievement to complete.
“We want people to join us and help raise funds for two brilliant causes.”
If you’re up for the challenge, you’ll need to raise a minimum of £300 and pay a deposit of £30.
