Once again, Sheffield Wednesday Education Programme has exceeded expectations, by beating the number of students studying at the football club from last year.

Tutors and education coordinators were extremely thrilled with last year’s numbers, as students studying BTECs doubled, creating the need for two new tutors to join the team.

With another record breaking year, there is further demand for new qualified tutors to deliver quality BTECs, Foundation degrees and Higher Education courses.

This years new educators include John Whitehead, Sarah Whiteley, James Hambling, Charlotte Frisby and Thomas Donlan.

Sheffield Wednesday Education Programme offers courses including BTEC Sport in level one, two and three (extended diploma), a Foundation Degree in sports coaching and a BTEC 11-a-side scholarship programme with links to scholarship progression in America.

These unique courses allow young talents to study in a professional environment, whilst actively participating in an elite football development programme.

Not forgetting our BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts and Dance with INK Dance taught by highly experienced dance professionals – with some dancing with the likes of Rita Ora and appearing on The X-Factor.
