SWFCCP are delighted to be accepted to deliver the ‘All to Play For’ Programme, in partnership with Sheffield City Council as part of the Suicide Prevention Fund.

SWFCCP will deliver physical activity for adult men who may be vulnerable or at-risk over a period 12 weeks, by receiving referrals from organisations who support the Sheffield recover framework. We will combine physical activity, with opportunities for participants to socialise in safe spaces. Further to this we will promote suicide prevention training and use the power of the SWFC brand to reduce stigmas, promote positive mental health.

As part of the ‘All to Play For’ Programme, we will take participants on a local residential, where they will have the opportunity to go on a health walk through the Peak District and socialise in a local café. We will promote active travel and give people the opportunity to realise the importance of mindfulness through countryside experiences. The programme will engage people in physical activity based on their needs and interests, such as: low level fitness, badminton, walking, walking football and boccia.

We will also be working in partnership with Sheffield Mind who will deliver two workshops including life skills, motivation, Resilience, future goal Setting, self-efficacy and locus of control to participants on the programme.
