Team Teach
SWFC Community Programme Team teach will offer primary school’s a bespoke programme to:
– Enhance teacher’s knowledge, skills & confidence to improve provision of PE & school sport
– Increase children’s enjoyment, participation & skills in all aspects of sports
– Increase children’s understanding of personal skills & values needed to achieve their goals
– Support young children to follow further participation pathways in sport
This programme focuses on developing the whole child, improving their physical literacy, enhancing learning and teaching them relevant life skills and behaviours.
Physical Education/Curricular PE
SWFC Community Programme are able to provide school pupils with the opportunities to develop their skills, talents and confidence through the delivery of a variety of different sporting activities and skill based learning. All SWFC Community Programme Coaches are fully qualified and hold DBS checks to ensure a high quality physical education session is being delivered.
Health and Wellbeing
SWFC Community Programmes aim is to support schools to help their children and young people to grow healthily and become active. SWFC Community Programmes Healthy Owls delivers fun and interactive session which allow children and young people to understand of the benefits of having a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Competitions
Through strong links with the Premier League and English Football league schools are given the opportunity to participate in local competitions.
CPD
SWFC Community Programme provide CPD courses catering for all staff of all levels to upskill, build confidence and competence in PE and Sports delivery.
