What is NCS

Advanced Training

Our aim is to provide talented players aged 8-14 playing in grassroots football opportunity to practice and play in a professional environment representing the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme.

Advanced Training courses are run on Thursday’s during school term time from 7:15 till 8:30. Courses are priced at £4 per session with online booking discounts available for bulk bookings.

What is NCS

Objectives:

– Further enhance the development of gifted players
– High quality coaching from UEFA A & B qualified coaches
– 1 hour weekly sessions across the programme during the school term

Outcomes:

– Progression into Academy squads if deemed appropriate
– Competitive games programme
– Exit routes into Further Education 11 aside and futsal programmes
– Exit routes into Referee Academy
– Development of young leaders and coaches
