The club’s annual fun day Owls in the Park is back, with a raft of activities, entertainment and attractions for the Sheffield Wednesday family to enjoy.

Owls in the Park 2016 will take place at Hillsborough Park on Sunday 17 July.

For the first time in the event’s four-year history, Owls in the Park will be welcoming a huge artificial beach on which to soak up the summer sun, while event partners Hallam FM will be curating the main stage for the duration of the day, offering music, competitions, games, interviews and much, much more.

Other attractions include a medieval re-enactment, the county’s biggest dog show, craft stalls, animal displays and dance performances.

A fully licensed bar will be available on the day as well as a whole range of food and drink stalls.

As always, Wednesdayites will also have the first chance of the summer to meet the players and enjoy photo and autograph opportunities.

Matt Bray, Social Inclusion Manager for the Owls’ Community Programme, said: “Owls in the Park is a fantastic event that grows more popular by the year.

“It gets better and better and this year we are hoping for the best event yet, with more activities and entertainment planned than ever before.

“We’re really excited to see thousands of our supporters in the park on the day.”

A host of charities, including Support Dogs, Bluebell Wood, St. Luke’s Hospice and The Royal Society for the Blind will be attending Hillsborough Park and holding stalls and activities to raise money and awareness.

The free of charge event, organised in conjunction with the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme and Sheffield City Council and Hallam FM, attracts thousands of people throughout the day, with something for all the family.

Owls in the Park 2016 will run from 11.00am to 5.30pm.
