Owls in the Park 2018 in association with Hallam FM is just around the corner in every sense!

Our annual community event, the biggest of its kind in the city, takes place from 11.00am to 5.30pm across the way in Hillsborough Park on Sunday 1 July.

This year’s showpiece will once again attract the attention of fans and media alike as the Owls host thousands upon thousands of Wednesdayites in a fun-filled day for all the family.

Wednesday’s first team squad and manager Jos Luhukay – together with chairman Dejphon Chansiri – will be in attendance as club and fans come together to party in the park!

Event partners Hallam FM will curate the main stage, where the players will line up for interviews in three groups working on a rotation basis.

While group one take to the stage, group two will sign autographs and pose for pictures in the usual designated area.

Meanwhile, group three will be out and about in the Owls’ community hub playing games with fans of all ages at the centre of the park.

All three groups will rotate throughout the afternoon but fans should note that the community hub and main stage are not areas for collecting autographs.

This is to ensure all player groups move equally around the event in a timely fashion to engage with as many supporters as possible.

The designated signing area will remain adjacent to the Owls’ marquee located in its usual place.

For fans wishing to upgrade their Owls in the Park experience, brand new for this year, we are pleased to offer a fantastic VIP morning package in the 1867 Lounge at Hillsborough.

From a 10.30am arrival, supporters can enjoy an unlimited buffet breakfast, English or continental, followed by a meet and greet with members of the Wednesday squad and manager Jos Luhukay for a full hour to midday.

A visit pitchside is next before walking up the players’ tunnel and into the home dressing room to wrap up the VIP experience.
